Ergobaby Omni 360 Review All-in-One Baby Carrier

I was so excited when I found out Ergobaby was sending me one of their new Omni 360 baby carriers to review! I have never owned or used an Ergobaby carrier before so this was a new experience for us. I’ve often wondered what all the fuss was about over their carriers. It seems like most babywearing families have tried an Ergo and I was the oddball out! I guess I’m finally in the babywearing “in-crowd”.

Check out my review of the Ergobaby Omni 360 All-In-One Baby Carrier below!

Ergobaby Omni 360 Baby Carrier Features

This is the most versatile baby carrier I have ever tried! And I always keep baby carrier safety in mind!

Newborn to 36 Months

It grows with your baby from week 1 to 36 months! (7-33lbs)

Ronen is 27 months so we’ll still be able to use it for a while!

There are color-coded velcro tabs on the inside to help you find the right fit for your baby and there is no need for a separate infant insert. Ronen is using the largest setting and he is 28lbs.

Four Positions

The Omni 360 allows you to wear your baby on the back, hip, front facing in, or front facing out, all while still in an ergonomic position, which is important to prevent hip dysplasia. It’s acknowledged as a “hip healthy” product by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.

It’s very simple to switch between facing in and out. You just switch the buttons on the outside from black to grey. GREY to face OUT. BLACK to face IN.

If you are going to wear your baby front facing out at all, make sure you have them seated correctly according to the instruction manual, and remember to watch for signs of over-stimulation.

It’s a little difficult for me to carry Ronen on my front now just because he has gotten taller and I can no longer see over his head. It still works, but I prefer back carries for my squirmy toddler anyway.

Head and Neck Support

There is an adjustable headrest cushion with three positions to support your baby’s head as they grow. Tuck it inside when newborn baby needs more support. Fold it outside when baby starts to hold head up. And button it up when the baby is sleeping.

Hood

There is a hood tucked away inside the pocket under the headrest that you can roll out to give your baby some shade or privacy if they’re sleeping. It snaps onto the shoulder straps.

Double-Lock

There is an extra safety feature with the Omni 360 on the buckles! You squeeze the sides and lift up the central tab to open the buckle. Don’t worry, you can still do it easily with one hand!

Lumbar Support and Optimal Comfort

The lumbar support waist belt has double adjusters for easy tightening ensuring maximum comfort by providing the support you need to prevent lower back pain. The carrier’s padded shoulder straps allow for a crisscross option, great for a snug fit or for those who prefer easy buckling on the front.

Detachable Storage Pouch

There is a storage pouch that attaches to the waistband under baby. It can fit quite a bit in there! Use it for your phone, keys, wallet, diaper and wipes, etc.

Highly Adjustable

The Omni 360 fits both my husband and me great! It is designed to fit all parents. It easily adjusts to fit different wearers from petite to larger body types so that everyone can share in the awesomeness that is babywearing!

With a quick adjustment of the straps, you can easily breastfeed in this carrier as well!

Conclusion of Ergobaby Omni 360 Review

Overall I really loved the Ergobaby Omni 360 All-In-One Baby Carrier! I especially like that you can wear baby facing out because I don’t have any other ergonomic carriers that allow that. While I might not wear Ronen facing out again, because he’s so big, I definitely look forward to using this position with future babies! The back position and front facing in worked great for us and were super comfortable!

The hood is really nice to have when babies fall asleep so their heads aren’t bobbing around. I speak from experience!

I really enjoy the storage pouch to stuff my keys, cash, and phone in for quick trips in the store and outings. I’ve already got a toddler attached to me, I don’t want a huge diaper bag to lug around too!

And what I love most is that it fits 7-33lbs! For most babies, this is the only carrier you will need from birth until they just don’t want to be worn anymore! There are preschool carriers out there, but honestly, Ronen doesn’t let me wear him as often anymore so I can’t imagine us or most families needing anything other than the Ergobaby Omni 360!
