Hey there, my name is Amanda!
I am a homeschooling stay-at-home mom of four boys and one baby girl. You’ll rarely get a glimpse of me without a kid wrapped around my leg or strapped on my back.
I started this blog as a way to share my love of a few different things:
Saving Money
I grew up going to thrift stores and I’ve brought that with me into adulthood. They are my favorite places to shop! I will spend all day hopping from store to store.
Natural Parenting/Living
I know a lot of people use the term “crunchy” for people like me, but I prefer “natural” since none of my friends or family even know what that means. I’m typically just called a hippie among them.
Cloth Diapers
My main reason for loving cloth diapers is also saving money, but there are so many more! Check out my post on 16 Reasons to Love Cloth Diapers
Babywearing
I babywear so my kiddos are comforted and close. Oh, and it helps when I’m trying to do pretty much anything and little mister is screaming at me to rock or nurse him to sleep.
Breastfeeding
I breastfeed because, well, why wouldn’t you if you can? There are so many benefits for you and baby! Of course, I just love all those sweet snuggles!
Reusing
I love my reusable products! And I will admit, I have a hard time getting rid of things. Especially clothes. I try to find another use for them and lots of other things before throwing them away. I have a hoard of t-shirts just waiting to be made into cloth diapers.
DIY
I love a good DIY project! My Pinterest is filled with things I want to try!
Sewing
I love to sew! Half my bedroom is filled with tubs of material if that says anything!
