Anyone else hate dirtying up dishes unnecessarily? That’s me! I’ll skip out on using a dish every chance I get. Who wants to measure out every single ingredient? Especially on something as simple and fast as smoothies. Therefore, this big batch peanut butter chocolate smoothie recipe requires no real measuring!
Smoothies are my favorite thing to make for breakfast because it’s so fast and easy! And this is how we make a batch big enough for 3 large cups! Because my two oldest boys drink just as much as me! Although I’m going to have to figure out something else when my youngest boy starts drinking the smoothies too.

What You Need
- blender
- 4-6 large, ripe bananas
- greens of your choice(I like the spring mix at Aldi)
- peanut butter
- chocolate almond milk(I get mine at Aldi)
I normally put four large overripe bananas in first. If I’m out of spring mix, then I’ll add two more.
Next, put in two large handfuls of spring mix. Push them down into the bananas to make room.
Add two large spoonfuls of peanut butter on top.
Pour in the chocolate almond milk. Make sure you get all the air bubbles out. I use the spoon from the peanut butter to pull the bananas away from the sides so the almond milk gets all the way to the bottom. I fill mine up past 40 oz and it does come out of the lid a little when it’s blending, but you can stop there if you want.
Blend on high until it’s done.
This is how much it makes! Perfect amount for the three of us!
It normally takes them less than 30 seconds to swig the whole thing down!
And if you have any left over, just pour it in a popsicle mold for a fun healthy treat your kids will love!
